Guide
How to export a web page to Word or Excel
Copying a page into Word often breaks the layout, and tables rarely paste cleanly into Excel. PageSnap reads the page while it captures it and exports what you need.
Export to Word
- Capture the page with PageSnap.
- Open Extract and choose Export to Word (.docx).
You get a Word document with the page's text and pictures.
Export tables to Excel
- Capture the page.
- Open Extract and choose Tables to Excel (.xlsx).
Every real HTML table on the page becomes a sheet. Tables that are really pictures cannot be exported exactly, but you can read them with OCR.
Other things you can take
- Copy all text in one click, including Arabic and other right-to-left languages.
- Save images (.zip): choose the pictures you want and save the originals.
- PDF: one long page, A4 or Letter. See save a web page as PDF.
