Full page screenshot on Windows and Mac
Windows and macOS can only screenshot what is on your screen. To capture a whole web page you need Chrome itself or an extension. These are the fastest ways.
Shortcuts with PageSnap
- Full page: Alt+Shift+P on Windows, Option+Shift+P on Mac.
- Visible area: Alt+Shift+V (Option+Shift+V).
- Select an area: Alt+Shift+S (Option+Shift+S).
- Full page after 5 seconds: Alt+Shift+D (Option+Shift+D), to give you time to open a menu.
You can change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
The built-in system tools
- Windows: Win+Shift+S captures a region or the screen. It cannot scroll.
- Mac: Cmd+Shift+4 captures a region and Cmd+Shift+3 the whole screen. It cannot scroll either.
For anything longer than one screen, use a full page capture: how to take a full page screenshot in Chrome.
