Guide
Block ads on YouTube and websites in Chrome
One switch in the PageSnap popup hides ads on the sites you visit. Pause it with one click on any site you want to support.
Steps
- Add PageSnap to Chrome and open the popup.
- Turn on Block ads and allow the one-time permission Chrome asks for.
- Reload your tabs. To allow ads on a site, press Pause on this site.
How it works
It stops requests to well-known ad networks, hides leftover ad boxes and, on YouTube, removes video ads, banners and sponsored items. Nothing about your browsing is sent anywhere.
YouTube changes often, so an ad may sometimes slip through. If that happens, turn the switch off and on again after PageSnap updates.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work on YouTube?
Yes, it removes most video and banner ads, but YouTube changes often so a few may appear.
Can I allow ads on one site?
Yes. Use Pause on this site in the popup, or manage the list in Settings.
Does it collect my browsing?
No. The blocking runs inside your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
