Check the SEO and speed of any page in Chrome

See what search engines see on a page, get plain suggestions in order of importance, and try changes before you touch your site.

Steps

  1. Add PageSnap to Chrome, open any web page and choose SEO and speed check from the right-click menu.
  2. Read the scores for SEO and for phone and computer speed.
  3. Open a panel for titles, headings, images, links, social sharing, technical details or keywords.
  4. Edit a title or description live to see the search preview and the new score.

What it checks

  • Title and description length, headings, keywords and readability
  • Image alt text and sizes, link checker for broken links
  • Open Graph and Twitter tags, robots.txt, sitemap, canonical and structured data
  • Page weight, load time and optional official scores from Google PageSpeed

Speed numbers are measured on your own computer. The optional Google PageSpeed test sends the page address to Google and works only for public pages.
