How to Export a Table From a Web Page to Excel or Word
Turn a table, list or whole article on any web page into an editable Excel or Word file in one click.
Copying a table from a web page into a spreadsheet often breaks the columns. A cleaner way is to export the real table structure.
To Excel
- Open the page with the table and capture it with PageSnap.
- Open Extract and choose Tables to Excel (.xlsx).
- Each real HTML table becomes a sheet, with rows and columns intact.
If you only need the data in another tool, Copy tables as CSV puts it on your clipboard.
To Word
Choose Export to Word (.docx). Headings, lists, links, images and tables come across as editable content, so you can reuse an article, report or recipe.
What works best
- Pages with real HTML tables export exactly.
- Tables drawn as pictures need OCR first and may need a quick check.
- Charts are exported as images.
Respect copyright
Exporting is for your own use, notes and research. Check the licence before you republish someone else's work.
